Christmas Bird Count

See
Upcoming Programs for more information about the 2008 CBC
Christmas Bird Count is an early winter bird census. Volunteers count every individual bird on one calendar day from midnight to midnight within a 15 mile diameter circle.

The PAS count circle surrounds Eaton Canyon. A pre-count meeting, usually the Wednesday preceding the count, reviews birds likely to cause confusion about their species and assigns territory and teams. The count generally takes place the third Saturday in December. The count is followed by a dinner where teams report their findings.

For additional information, please contact count coordinator Jon Fisher at 818- 544-5009 or at JON.L.FISHER@DISNEY.COM..
