April 5, 1999 (Here is) a list of the birds i've seen on mt. wilson over the years and the time of the year and the abundance for people who are interested...also i will put down a few other places i've seen the birds, but not the time of year or abundance... yr=year round, sp=spring, su=summer, f=fall, w=winter 1. mountain quail (yr, common) also buckhorn 2. cooper's hawk (yr, sporadic) also buckhorn 3. red-tailed hawk (yr, common) also shortcut 4. turkey vulture (yr, sporadic) also shortcut 5. american kestrel (only seen once, w98) 6. great horned owl (yr, common) 7. western screech-owl
