Superb Owl Sunday!

Superb Owl logo

It's time once again for the biggest bird holiday of them all, Superb Owl Sunday!!! While much of America will be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 13th, Superb Owl Sunday fans everywhere will spend the day (and owls being owls, the night) celebrating these marvels of the avian world.

And we want you to join in! Once again this year we'd like you to share your favorite owl pictures with us at Pasadena Audubon, and we can share them with the world via our social media outlets.

To submit your owl photos, just email them to superbowl@pasadenaaudubon.org(*).

Check out last year's submissions.

The history of Superb Owl Day

Like any well-beloved holiday, the origins of Superb Owl Sunday are lost in the mists of time. But many SuperbOwl-ologists credit this 2014 episode of The Colbert Report with driving the holiday into the mainstream...The Colbert Report
