Young Birders Club - KIDS

All kids interested in birds and nature are welcome! Learn about birds and the environment and meet other kids with similar interests.Parents/guardians are welcome too! The Pasadena Audubon Young Birders Club for Kids meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at 75 S Grand Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105 (MAP). We also have one field trip a month to various birding spots around the county.

The Young Birders Club teens group kicks off with a Valentine's Day special program! Young birder Teodelina Martelli will tell us about love among the birds -- avian courtship, competition for mates and sexual selection, and pair bonding, as well as the role of birds in human romance. December 2020 meeting

At our December 2020 meeting we talked about habitat and encouraging birds to come to your yard with homemade feeders. Then we did a group drawing of a California Scrub Jay with everyone contributing elements of habitat. Shout out to Justina Martelli who drew the Scrub Jay and led the activity!
