March 15th: Condors and Magpies and Thrashers Oh My!
Sunday, March 15th, 2026, 8:00 AM - noon(ish)
Trip leaders: Alex Coffey
For this field trip we'll be visiting neighbouring counties north of Los Angeles in search of three very special birds (while of course stopping to admire other birds that happen to cross our path): The iconic California Condor, the endemic Yellow-billed Magpie, and the ghostly LeConte's Thrasher! Obviously this trip involves quite a bit of driving, and it could end up going well into the afternoon, so plan accordingly.
Please contact fieldtrips@pasadenaaudubon.org for questions or accommodations. Anyone can sign up; no membership is required. Beginning birders are welcome.
Participant limit: 30, chosen by lottery.
